Antique Newspapers: The Times. Number 8346

From a collection of antique newspapers containing articles relevant to Black British history; these are often regarding the Translantic Slave Trade, however some articles relate to musicians, sportsmen and British imperialism.
This newspaper includes an account of a 'pugilistic contest' between the amateur boxer Powers and the Black champion Molineaux (third page, fourth column).
