An antler pick from a red deer. It was found with two others at the bottom of a well, which has helped to preserve it. Antler picks were widely used from the Neolithic period (aroud 4000 to 2500 years ago). This pick shows signs of wear on the tines and there are dice drilled indentations on the main stem when may be an identifying mark.
