"Antigone" by Sophocles, director: Adam Hanuszkiewicz, foreground: Anna Chodakowska (Antigone). “Antigone” – the premiere inaugurated the operation of the Small Theatre, it was a graduation performance at PWST (The Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art) in Warsaw. “The confrontation of three generations for whom the notions of war and peace were connected with totally different events, yet the conflicts between Creon and Antigone resonated with similar intensity for each of them” (Adam Hanuszkiewicz).
