Apajata. Jarra matrimonial

Folk art collection of Ceremonial jar known as apajata, used to contain the wedding gifts given to the newlyweds. The partially glazed ceramic piece presents small figures of musicians and dancers on the neck of the jar. The rich decoration refers to the festivity and also to the wish of prosperity for the marriage.
