Gilded terracotta applique depicting a five-petalled rosette. Similar appliques were often used for the decoration of the struts of the headboards of wooden sarcophagi. Discovered in the same context were representations of animals (predators and prey) and figures recalling the mythical struggle between griffins and Arimaspians.
