Museo del Estanquillo
Mexico, Mexico

This shows two pairs of calaveras face to face amid skulls and bones strewn on the ground among the tombs in a mausoleum. These are the Little Black Boy and his wife, both with black skulls, referring of course to their mulatto origins, holding up a cudgel, and Don Folías and his wife: he is shown as hunchbacked, with a long pointed nose, wearing a little top hat and holding a pair of spectacles in his right hand.
