Archaeological human clay figurine fragment excavated from the South African archaeological site of K2, block 2, section 1, dating approximately AD 1030 - AD 1220.The figurine consists of upper torso, chest, arms and head. The chest is characterised with two small protrusions or breasts. The wing-like arms are open and are formed in such a way that they continue outwards from the same clay mass as the torso. The rounded back has been decorated with a single line of dots along the spine. The shoulders are rounded and continue up towards the tubular head. The face is faintly marked and characterised by slightly incised features. Additionally, remnants of a fingerprint are visible along the right side of the face.
