Archaeological human clay figurine fragment excavated in South African Iron Age archaeological site of K2, section 14, dating approximately AD 1030 - AD 1220.The figurine consists of mid-torso, breast, arms, conical neck and a disc-shaped head. The torso is cylindrical extending from just below the breasts to head. Two breasts are positioned below the arms. The arms are presented as two wing-like forms or pinched protrusions which are flattened and rounded along the edges, the arms extend at right angles to the torso at the front, but slant downwards at the back. The conical neck extends upwards directly from the arms into a rounded disc-shaped head. At the front of the figurine, between neck and head is a visible perforation. No decoration is apparent on the figurine.
