Real Fossil - Oligocene 30 Mya - Wyoming
Multiple finds have shown that Poebrotherium - a small North American camel - was frequently a prey item for Archaeotherium, an entelodont. One spectacular example is this block depicting a meat cache, or store of meat. There are 594 exposed bones belonging to at least 7 individual Poebrotherium skeletons. Tooth marks on the skulls, necks and thoracic vertebrae match the dimensions of an average Archaeotherium jaw.
