Arcángel performing in the Parliament of Andalusia

Francisco José Arcángel Ramos, son of parents from Alosneros and born in Huelva, made his debut at an early age, winning first prize in the Huelva Children's Fandango Competition at the Peña Flamenca La Orden in 1987, a triumph he repeated in the following two editions. He has won the Premio Andalucía Joven, the Premio Nacional Flamenco Activo de Úbeda, the Giraldillo for best singer at the 2002 Seville Biennial Flamenco and the Venencia Flamenca de Los Palacios.
