Zumi was amongst a generation of young artists who began painting in the streets in the aftermath of the 2001 crisis. Whilst many artists created work directly relating to the social and economic problems the city was experiencing, others chose to bring colour and positivity to the streets.
Zumi's work incorporates a stylised representation of the natural world using flourescent paints to create animal and plant life, trees, blossoms and animals.
Her gallery works explore themes of nature and sacred geometry. This delicate work is a representation of Argentina, and is created using silver paint and silver thread.
