Armchair descended in the Huger family of Charleston, South Carolina

This chair has a detailed history of descent. Components of its set were pictured in a 1909 publication. Another chair from this set descended in a collateral branch of the family and is in the holdings of the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts.
