The four legs of the chair stand on double sleepers. Two claw feet at the front. The straight arm supports rest on balusters. The rectangular back support is decorated with gilt acanthus leaves at the top. This type of chair is from Italy: its companion piece can be found in the Palazzo Davanzati in Florence.
