By being inspired from Sufis, the Mevlevi dervishes, “Rumi” was designed by Sadi Öziş in 1964. The chair, named after Mevlana Celalettin Rumi, symbolizes Rumi’s peaceful and all-embracing understanding with its form. The chair, the frame of which was prepared by bending 14 mm. round-cross section and construction iron, is fully upholstered.
