Armillary sphere replica at 1001 Inventions exhibition at the Jordan Museum, Amman

The construction and use of the armillary sphere started in the eighth century when they were first written about in Baghdad in the treatise of 'The Instrument with the Rings' by Al-Fazari. It was also known in Al-Andalus since the first half of the ninth century.
