In February and March 1914, Schönberg undertook a concert tour to Leipzig, where he conducted Gurre-Lieder in the Alberthalle on 6 March. Some of his pupils and other guests from Vienna attended the concert: Paul Königer, Edward Clark, Erwin Stein, Eduard Steuermann, Arnold Schönberg, unknown, Heinrich Jalowetz, Anton Webern, Josef Polnauer.
