Arnold Schönberg’s Marriage Certificate

Arnold Schönberg married Gertrud Kolisch, the sister of his pupil Rudolf Kolisch, on 28 August 1924. She was Schönberg’s second wife, mother of their children Nuria Dorothea (*1932), Rudolf Ronald (*1937) and Lawrence Adam (*1941). Gertrud Kolisch wrote the libretto to Schönberg’s opera Von heute auf morgen.
