Mine and her brother arrive by bus at Tanforan Assembly Center. The gates in the background are open for the bus to enter, and manned by military guards with rifles. The image depicts only the first few rows of the bus, from an angle above it looking down. The roof is not depicted, so that the people inside, including Mine, her brother, a young boy and a solider with rifle, can be seen.
