"You have already arrived in Spain. You can go from North to South. from East to West or along the coast. You can see everything and ask as much as you want. All the doors are open, all the roads -a few potholes apart- passable. You will be surprised to see people pass through places where it says that the steps are prohibited. It will miss you at first. Later, when you get to know Spain and the Spaniards, when you learn that here freedom is not a word written in the law, but a constitutive way of being and being, you too will pass, as the most natural thing in the world. “What is in Spain belongs to the Spaniards”, we usually say around here. As those of us in the country do not expend prejudices or discrimination of any kind, you can calmly modify the sentence, leaving it like this: «What there is in Spain belongs to the Spaniards and mine. It will seem perfectly natural to us. In addition, we are sure that you will not abuse this trust."- Máximo.
