Arsenal Hall in the Gatchina Palace

In the 19th century the Arsenal Hall was a place where the Imperial family could spend the whole day — they had breakfasts and dinners here, arranged private theatricals, and children played with a slide and swing. The pillars were used to hang hunting trophies of the Imperial family members.
