Arzak restaurant has an impresive wine cellar. "The collection was started by my grandparents, expanded by my father and I continued to add to it later," says Juan Mari. It is managed by Mariano Rodríguez, who was given the award for best sommelier by the International Academy of Gastronomy in January 2016. The index of almost 3,000 items uses a labeling system that makes them easy to find and shows how many are left, the purchase price, and their price on the menu.
