This project explores new possibilities through injecting the vitality of contemporary art (imagination and creativity) into traditional manufacturing. As the proverb goes, "If you work at it hard enough, you can grind an iron bar into a needle." In other words, through the process of laboring, one can find liberation. The artist collects the tools of workers and peasants (reproduction), replicates them (influence) and creates new subjectivity (recreation).
