In the left foreground is deputy director Giovanni Costì, with Secretary Edgardo Morpurgo, behind him. First on the right is Secretary General Edmondo Richetti, and behind him Carlo Schütz. Seated second on the right is Deputy Director Giacomo Fano, third is Deputy Secretary Gioberti Luzzatti, and in the middle is Director Camillo Bozza. From the important positions of those present and the artworks on display (preserved to the present day), we can deduce that the picture was likely taken in the Secretary General’s rooms overlooking the sea on the piano nobile of Palazzo Geiringer, to mark the 75th anniversary of Generali’s founding. Movable partitions between the columns normally separated the rooms, but they were removed once a year, as in this image, to provide space for the company's annual general meeting.
