This work is Luis Chan's creation of the geisha in the series of "Hong Kong Kaleidoscope". His later works are devoted to observing the people and things around him. These people all undergo transformation in his subconscious, becoming denizens of his fantasy world. His painting is often painted with layers of opaque pigment on xuan paper, with bright and vital color.
