Astronaut Kent Rominger sits in the cockpit of a Shuttle Training Aircraft (STA) after flying weather reconnaissance for the landing of Endeavour, returning from mission STS-111. Low cloud cover and other unfavorable weather conditions resulted in the third day of wave off on two landing opportunities. Endeavour successfully landed at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., completing 217 orbits and a 5.8-million-mile journey
