Richmond, United Kingdom

The Butler Company did not renew its lease of the Richmond Theatre in 1830, but the Theatre was leased occasionally by other theatre managers until 1848. This letter is dated 12th June 1832 and addressed to the proprietor of the Richmond theatre. It is from Herr Teasdale at Sheffield who enquires whether the theatre is ‘at liberty for this season’ and on what terms.
