At the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia, Expedition 37/38 backup crewmembers Flight Engineer Steve Swanson of NASA, Soyuz Commander Alexander Skvortsov (center) and Flight Engineer Oleg Artemyev clasp hands Sept. 3 during a round of qualification exams. The trio is serving as backups to the prime crew – Soyuz Commander Oleg Kotov, Flight Engineer Sergey Ryazanskiy and Flight Engineer Michael Hopkins of NASA -- who will launch to the International Space Station Sept. 26 in their Soyuz TMA-10M spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakshtan.
