This is an ataifor, a dish typical of Andalusian tableware. It was made on a potter's wheel and has a flat rim with a small groove on the outside, parallel to the rim, with a pronounced carination (angled bulge) and divergent walls. The bottom rests on a foot. The exterior has a dark, honey-colored glaze, while on the inside, a matte, tin background is decorated with a broken line of squares, possibly drawn with copper oxide. This ceramic dish comes from the excavations carried out at the Círculo Católico (Catholic Circle) site in the city of Huesca.
