A mock-up of the 3700 bubble chamber

Initially the idea was to build a 5000 mm bubble chamber. However this turned out to be too expensive. The size was then reduced to 3700 mm and this is the bubble chamber which later always has been referred to as BEBC. The album shows a full-size model that was built for the test of scotchlite.
