Half of a stoneware lid from a pot of Atkinson’s Celebrated Parisian Toothpaste was recovered from the Three Sister’s site, a mid-19th century church site near North Orillia, Ontario that was excavated by MTO in 1995. Very little information is available about the site, but another Atkinson’s Toothpaste lid was recovered from the Bishop’s Block site in Toronto, which encompassed the foundations of four urban townhouses occupied in the latter half of the 19th century.
