Attic clay trefoil oinochoe with relief representation of Dionysos mounted on a panther. The god wears a short chiton, high boots and holds a trefoil oinochoe in his right hand. The representation of a mounted Dionysos, a god possessing a chthonic essence, probably relates to his seasonal arrival and departure in the course of the annual cycle of vegetation. Mid-4th c. BC.
