Attic red-figure hydria-kalpis (vase for carrying water) with a scene of departure for battle. A warrior is depicted at the centre, flanked, on the left, by a winged Nike proffering a sword and his seated elderly father, and, on the right, by a young family member, sister or wife, holding a trefoil-mouthed oenochoe, poised to perform a libation. Attributed to the Group of the Niobid Painter. c. 450 BC. H. 0,359 m. Anonymous gift. (ΓΕ 38151)
