Red-figure skyphos. Repainted?
There is a band of broken meander, running to right with cross- squares at irregular intervals. Palmette complex beneath handles
A) Column; wreathed satyr walking to right, playing double pipes. Dionysos (bearded, long-haired, wreathed, with thyrsus and branch in his left hand, kantharos in his right) walking to right, looking back.
B) Dancing satyr moving to right, wreathed, carrying a wine skin. Infant satyr dancing to right, nude, with a thyrsus. Maenad, dancing, facing left, wreathed, with thyrsus.
The foot is unpainted underneath except for inner surface of foot and two small concentric circles at centre, surround by two larger ones.
