Attire and Adornment of Achang Women in Dehong, Yunnan

The apparel of the Achang ethnic group is simple, less adorned and elegant. The Achang women of different ages and marital status wear varied garments. Young girls love to wear blue or black blouses with a vertical placket, long trousers, and blue or black head wraps, while married women are usually seen on black blouses with a vertical placket and narrow sleeves paired with barrel skirts instead of pants.
