Biddy Bunzl's (b. 1952) abstract pictures use colour and shape in a vibrant and joyful way. Visual memories inform her work, such as the shape of a leaf, the bright summer sun through a curtain or a child’s drawing. Biddy was born in London but her art education began in Vienna where she completed an art foundation course. In 1970 she returned to the UK to study sculpture at Camberwell School of Art.
