Green, shield-shaped felt badge from a blazer pocket. The badge is embroidered with the Australian coat-of-arms and lettering that reads, "BRITISH EMPIRE GAMES / SYDNEY /1938". Doris Carter represented Australia in the Women's High Jump at the Games and was placed 5th with a jump of 5'1" (1.55m). Two years earlier she also placed 5th at the Berlin Olympics.
