For some model railroaders, the pleasure of the hobby lies in creating their own meticulously designed and perfectly scaled layouts of their electric-powered rail systems moving around towns and buildings, through mountains and tunnels, and beside roadways filled with cars, trucks, and sites of new construction busy with steamrollers, forklifts, and other equipment. Sometimes model railroaders search for that perfect replica of a favorite luxury car or sporty convertible to complete the layout.
