Azad back in service

After nearly 25 years, Azad is back in service! On 15th September 2018, Chairman of Railway Board, Mr. Ashwani Lohani announced a weekly train service for the town of Farukhnagar in Haryana and the locomotive used for this service will be none other than Azad, back in service after a hiatus of nearly 25 years.
