Water as a basic element of life, is represented in the image with an ancient deity, Tláloc, principal in Tlalocan paradise. The name refers to the cycle since the water evaporates from the sky until it is condensed and falls as rain. Meaning, "nectar of the earth," I take it as a symbolism of water gives nutrition to the ground, thus making it possible for life to flourish.
