Socialite Barbara "Babe" Cushing Paley, wife of CBS Chairman William S. Paley, in the parasol-roofed poolside patio of her home in Round Hill, Jamaica. The two long walls are formed by jalousie doors with louvered shutters, which can be folded back to leave the sides completely open. Rattan furniture, with red cushions, fills the patio and poolside deck.
