This artwork is depicted with the image of a boy with a round head and big ears, and dressed only in a bellyband decorated with lotus patterns. This artwork shows the posture adopted by Prince Siddartha when he was born, pointing one finger to the sky and the other to the ground. According to Buddhist scriptures, Prince Siddartha was born under the Asoka tree in Lumbini Garden. He was recorded to have walked seven steps, and a lotus rose from each step he made.
