Bach Relics in Leipzig: The organ room in the Bach Museum

Instruments Bach played on were venerated like relics in the 19th century. The Bach Museum shows the console of a Leipzig organ on which Bach himself once played. Due to war damage, several renovations and the theft of relics, even this remnant of an instrument is hardly original.
