Made by an interned German prisoner of war on Torrens Island in ca.1915, posted by Harold Tilley.
The postcards were used by Harold Tilley, who was stationed on Torrens Island with the 74th Regiment guarding prisoners of war, to send to his niece and 'Olly' (Olive) Buller of Aldgate Valley, Aldgate. It reads: 'Dear Olly, Just a few lines fulfilling my promise in sending you this P. Card made entirely by the German Prisoners of War at Torren’s Island. From your old cobber Harold.'
