Baeja is a unisex garment. It lacks sleeves, seop, and goreum. The left and right front panels do not overlap but meet at the center. During the 1900's women's baeja became shorter to match the shortening trend of jeogori, and unlike men's baeja, the women's lacked a side split seam. This particular garment is lined with fur, with its armholes, the outer line of the front closure and hem trimmed with fur.
