An early bagatelle game was probably made in England during the 19th century. With a strange printed image of life in Asia, the game's title indicates this is meant to represent China. Glass marbles have been fastened to some of the scoring spots. This game predates the invention of the spring plunger. Players shot the balls with a sort of short stick, similar to a cue in billiards.
