This is a cosmetic product that is applied on the face to make the skin look lighter. It can be classified roughly into white powder and color powder, and comes in multiple forms such as powder, solid, and liquid, although facial powder generally refers to white powder. Before applying facial powder, soft hair on the face must be removed with a pair of tweezers, or shaved with a thread. Then, the desired amount of powder would be placed on a dish and carefully mixed with an appropriate amount of water into a liquid form before applying it on the face. The dissolved powder took about 20 minutes to dry, and during that length of time, the user must have lain down and waited for the powder to dry. The powder box shown here is made of paper, and its lid is painted with camellia flowers and bears a company logo that reads “Park’s Face Powder.” There are advertisement slogans on both sides, and inside the paper box, its bright peach-colored content remains in its packaging.
