Bamboo basket "Kokkō"

With its delicate, yet beautiful sturdy form, this piece is considered as the apex of layered bundle weaving. The shape of a large chrysanthemum flower can be seen when viewing the basket from the top, suggesting perhaps that this is for placing chrysanthemum flowers.
