This cast iron bandstand was made by Glasgow's Elmbank Foundry in the late 19th century. The octagonal structure sits on a raised podium. Initially it had a balustrade on four sides. In the 20th century three more sides were filled with wrought iron versions. It is topped with a square clock tower. The bandstand is Listed Grade II.
