Baptism

An etching by the South African artist Judas Mahlangu (b.1951) titled Baptism. The work shows a religious congregation swept up by preaching and a mass baptism. Short Biography: Judas Mahlangu was born in 1951 in Brakpan on the East Rand. He started his studies at the Rorke's Drift art school in 1975. In the 1980s he became a lecturer in art at the Durban Technikon.
