A woodcut from the Parisian (then largest in France), unusually valued for journalist and artistic features, large-format magazine “L'Illustration. Journal Universel”. It was printed on the front page of the magazine in no. 1331 (dated 29.08.1868). It was accompanied by a short article by Henri Vigne devoted to the unveiling of the monument.
This picture, though not signed, is modelled on Johann Conrad Werdmüller's earlier created copperplate engraving according to the drawing by Julius Stadler.
